Ray-Ban Meta Glasses for Veterans

Military Veterans for Christ (MVFC) has received donated Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses to distribute at no cost to qualified veterans and service members with vision impairments.

Our goal is to place this technology into the hands of veterans who can benefit from additional assistance in their everyday lives. Ray-Ban Meta glasses offer hands-free features that may assist with tasks such as reading text, identifying objects, describing surroundings, and accessing information.

You do not have to be legally blind to apply.

Who May Qualify?

MVFC's program includes veterans with blindness, low vision, and other documented vision needs. Applicants may qualify if they are an honorably discharged U.S. veteran or currently serving member of the Armed Forces and meet one or more of the following:

  • Legal blindness or low vision.
  • A diagnosed eye or vision condition that affects daily activities, safety, or independence.
  • A current prescription for corrective lenses demonstrating an ongoing need for vision correction.
  • Another documented visual impairment or vision need for which this technology could provide meaningful assistance.

Applicants will be asked to provide a current eyeglass prescription or verification of their vision from a qualified vision-care professional.

MVFC will review each application to determine eligibility. Because the number of donated glasses is limited, submitting an application does not guarantee approval or that glasses will be available.

How to Apply

DOWNLOAD APPLICATION

Download the application, fill it out completely, and email the completed application along with the requested documentation to militaryveteransforchrist@gmail.com.

Please write legibly so we can properly review your information. Once MVFC receives and reviews your application, a member of our team will call you regarding your eligibility and the next steps for attending a required training and distribution class.

Approved recipients are required to attend an MVFC training class before receiving their glasses.

The class will help veterans set up their glasses, learn how to use the available features, and become comfortable using the technology.
